What is a Turkey Visa?
Turks and Turks residing in countries other than Turkey need a visa to visit Turkey. Nationals of Vanuatu are exempt from needing a visa for a stay up to 90 days. How to Obtain a Turkey Visa from Vanuatu
If you are a citizen of Vanuatu and you want to travel to Turkey, you need to obtain a visa first. The easiest way to do this is through your local embassy or consulate in Vanuatu. Here’s what you need to do:
1) Determine if you require a visa. If you are a citizen of Vanuatu and travelling on a valid passport, none of the below requirements apply to you. If, however, you are travelling on a passport that is not valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Turkey, then one or more of the below requirements will apply.

-You must have a return/referral ticket.
2) Obtain a Turkish visa if required by one or more of the above requirements.
3) Complete the Turkish visa application form (available online at [the link provided]). Make sure to include all required documents with your application. Note: You cannot submit your application through an embassy or consulate if you are outside of their jurisdiction (i.e., if you are located in Vanuatu but travelling to Turkey). You must submit your application directly to the Turkish embassy or consulate nearest to where you reside.
How to Obtain a Turkey Visa from the United States
If you are a Vanuatu national and want to travel to Turkey, you will need to obtain a Turkey visa. Here’s what you need to do:
- Visit the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence.
- Complete the required application forms and submit them with your supporting documents.
- Wait for a response from the embassy or consulate, which may take up to six weeks.
- Once your application has been accepted, you will be contacted by the embassy or consulate and asked to schedule an appointment for your visa interview.
- Upon arriving at the embassy or consulate for your visa interview, you will be required to present all of your documentation as well as pay the visa fee.
- After completing your visa interview, you will receive a decision letter outlining the conditions of your visa and any other necessary information such as passport requirements for Turkey.
